PATRICK
Massage Therapist
I first trained in massage here in Sheffield over thirteen years ago, although I don't think I realised at the time quite how much it would become part of my life.
I later spent some time living in Barcelona, where I continued working with massage alongside other jobs. I loved how naturally massage seemed to fit into everyday life there. People didn't necessarily need a particular reason to book one. Feeling good, taking some time for yourself and looking after your general wellbeing were reason enough. That's an attitude I've increasingly brought into my own practice.
Since returning to Sheffield I've continued to train extensively in massage, bodywork and movement, but I'm probably less interested than ever in making massage feel overly complicated or clinical. I think there's enormous value in simply having an hour where somebody takes care of you.
Outside the studio I'm usually doing something with my hands. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, swimming and learning traditional crafts, and I'm currently studying for a Master's in Theatre. I'm endlessly curious and tend to disappear down rabbit holes learning about everything from the human body to landscapes, craft and how people experience the world around them.
That curiosity inevitably finds its way into my work. I don't use a fixed massage routine, so when you book with me we'll work out what you'd enjoy that day. You might want something slow and deeply relaxing, something firmer and more physical, or a bit of both.
More than anything, I want Elements to be somewhere you can come without needing to have anything wrong with you. You don't need a problem to solve or a reason to justify being here.
Sometimes it's simply nice to have a massage.

SHAKIRA
Massage Therapist
I started practicing yoga seven years ago, at the time I was looking for ways to manage stress. Something about the practice resonated with me and in a way it has changed my life. When an opportunity came to train with Sacred Alchemy Yoga I knew I had to take it to explore a new career path more aligned with my interests and lifestyle.
I studied massage to deepen my understanding of the body, learn more about anatomy and how different experiences can affect the physical body. Qualifying in Complementary Therapies with the Sheffield School of Health and Beauty has opened up my work to include therapeutic touch.
My intention with my work is to support you as you tap into your innate ability to heal, restore and thrive. I am interested in your vitality, in working with you as you define and move towards your wellness goals. When you book with me you will receive unique treatments tailored to your needs.
